Civil Structural Engineer

EDUCATION:

  • Higher education: University – Bachelor degree (Master degree is a plus) in Structural and Civil Engineering.

PREVIOUS WORKING EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years of working experience in similar positions in engineering companies.
  • Working experience in piping and layout sector, specifically in iron making plants, water & gas treatment, Oil & Gas is a plus.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of main international design code for steel structure and civil works (at least IS, BS EN).
  • Ability to develop static calculation model/calculation report.
  • Ability to manage all engineering technical aspects of steel structures and civil work projects.

TOOLS (would be a plus):

  • Static Calculation programs: SAP2000, STAADPRO, ANSYS (not mandatory)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out equipment general lay-out.
  • Carry out 3D model discipline studies.
  • Create and check discipline items lists for “3D Model Progress monitoring” protocol associating relevant dates.

  • Perform 3D model activities for related discipline in order to carry out 3D CAD model engineering development from concept engineering phase up to issue of construction drawings.
